Richard F. Jackson
Richard F. Jackson is a Cardiff-based musician. He writes music for stage, screen, films, video games and most other things. His music is known for its angular structures, intricate orchestration and emotional lyricism. He's also written music under the names of JacksorJacksor and Albatross Archive. His current live set-up is as a trio, alongside flute and cello.
Richard F. Jackson is a Cardiff-based musician, writing songs, film music, video game music, theatre scores and anything else people ask for. He's written music for quite a while now, under the names of JacksorJacksor, Albatross Archive, and, well, Richard Jackson (but there's quite a few of them so he decided to make a lil' change).
He loves writing for people, and with people, and about people. His most recent release - a six-track EP called _SAM - was less about people and more about time (though honestly it was about how it affects people). He's currently working on a few different projects - most recently writing the score for Peculiar Productions' performance of Terry Pratchett's "Maskerade" - and his doing his best to do his best.
Outside of music, Richard is a software developer and has been an Umbraco MVP since 2024. He writes about that side of his work at rfjdev.com.
Above all, he just wants to be a net positive.
